Perfect for my needs. It took me a long time to find something that was just the right height, strong enough, and wide enough to help me climb into my new loft bed. I used a baby step stool but it felt unstable because my whole foot wouldn't fit in it unless I rotated it to the side. The legs fold down so you can take it anywhere. I just keep mine in the bedroom because I'm too small without it to go to bed without climbing up.
