When I ordered these pots both the description and one of the pictures on the Revain website said they were oven safe. However, when I received the shards and opened the box, I noticed that there was NO INFORMATION - on the box and in the brochure - that these shards were safe to use in the kiln. The service said they are safe for the oven. In the end I decided not to trust such important information based on a verbal testimony. It's kitchen appliances! While there are various kitchen-specific labels on the packaging of these pans, none of them say "oven safe". The brochure also says nothing about "oven safety". So I returned them. I lost over 1 hour of my time (refund processing, packing, driving to UPS). One star for my waste of time and inconsistency in the description: product information on the box and in the brochure versus the description on the Revain website.
