I tried it on my lined curtains, it worked fine on the printed/colored side of the curtains but it didn't work on the white lining. It removes about 85% of the hair on the lining, but it just can't remove all of it. Even sheer curtains with little structure cannot remove all of this. Also with the hair removal part, the hairs seem to be sticking to the edges of the blue and are not completely removed by the wand. And as for emptying the bin, the hair doesn't magically gather at the bottom but stays inside, requiring you to use very long fingers to remove it. Effective.
