The key is very difficult to put in the lock

Although the lock is of good quality and has a good aesthetic appearance, it was very difficult for me to insert the key into the lock. It took a lot of time and frustration to almost "jam" the key and push it into the locking mechanism. I used some WD-40 and left it on for 24 hours and it made a difference, but unlocking with the key is still pretty difficult and annoying.
