lack of bass: headphones

After all the rave reviews, I was looking forward to this one. I've never owned in-ear headphones so maybe it's just me, but I couldn't get almost any bass out of them. I've tried several earbuds of different sizes and types with it, but unless I force them into my ear canal there's no bass. Tried different types of music/songs. I was only able to get pretty decent bass when I hooked up my MP3 player through a FiiO A5 headphone amp with Output Boost and Bass Boost turned on. The bass was also boosted in my MP3 player's equalizer. They had great clear highs and mids (and bass when I forced the issue). So these headphones didn't fit me and I sent them back.

Pros
  • Molded wire ensures a secure fit on ear
Cons
  • Legacy model
