This camera had some features that other cameras didn't have:1st: it's rechargeable, no need to keep buying batteries2nd: it comes with an SD card, no need for secondary purchase3rd: it comes with a molded silicone case which protects it without adding bulk4th: user friendly. Our almost-3-year-old granddaughter adapted to it quickly and has hadfun with it since Christmas.I purchased the camera with the first two features in mind and wasn't disappointed. The other two features are an added bonus.We will be buying a 2nd camera for another granddaughter's birthday.
