This is a great pair of studio shoes if your child is just starting to dance and you don't want to spend a lot of money on all the 'dance stuff' you need to buy to get started. They do what they are supposed to do, which is to cover the legs and make it easier to slide on the floor. However, you can tell they're pretty cheaply made and will likely fall apart with decent use (my kids go to dance class once a week, so we haven't racked up that much wear and tear yet).
