Review on ๐Ÿ‘พ CORSAIR CARBIDE 275R Mid-Tower Gaming Case with White Window Side Panel by Chad Cross

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Super nice case. A little bit small. Tight for full ATX and mechanical hard drives. Pro tips inside!

Corsair is one of my favorite PC component suppliers. They seem to focus on high quality and are generally reasonably priced. I chose the Corsair case for this build and the 275 R was attractive yet classy. Didn't shine as much as most branded gaming cases these days. You can still choose RGB and show it off with a nicely tempered side window. On the front there are three white LEDs that shine from the bottom front, giving the device a really sleek look. From the photos on Revain I assumed the front was brushed metal, but it's actually plastic. OK, really. Reduced chance of scratches. There is plenty of room for a front radiator and I have a H110i (280mm with 2 x 140mm fans). You probably can't mount it at the top of the case since it blocks the top of the motherboard, but that's good because you don't need a heatsink there anyway. It is better to place it in front of it to ensure the flow of fresh air. The ATX board is installed vertically and leaves little free space - just a few millimeters. The lower part of the case for the PSU and HDD rack (2 bays) is separated from the rest of the case - a bonus. The cable management features are excellent. There's an option to mount the GPU vertically, but don't do that - your fans will be pressed against the glass and you won't get any airflow. Here are the problems: โ€” Grommets are not included. For real?!? that $0.30 part you have to specially order? come on guys A NOTICE. My dad bought the same black case, it came with grommets and a top magnetic dust cover. There's no way to connect the PSU cables once they're in the case -- it's difficult to slide them in with the cables attached. Here's my advice. . If you do not intend to use mechanical hard drives, remove the hard drive cage BEFORE beginning assembly. You have enough space for cables and power supply. Otherwise you fight all the time. Otherwise a very nice and sleek case in the usual Corsair quality. Some compromises have been made to keep the size down, but you know what's going on. Highly recommended.
