UPDATE! The sound quality is far from the waterproof speaker I've heard. It cost a lot less, was waterproof and a lot lighter. It's quite heavy so feels solid and feels good in a man's hands. The metal on top gives it a solid, unbeatable look that I love. Then I turned it on. The sound quality doesn't match the looks at all. I'm surprised by other reviews saying it sounds amazing. Sounds decent but not like the other stuff (yes the battery was fully charged too). I didn't test it for durability, water resistance or shock resistance haha I saw other reviews had nightmares testing them. Kind of hit or miss, depending on the assembler. The size is big, but the weight may affect the long hike.
