This is a beautiful jewelry box. I have ordered several different jewelry boxes in different styles and colors for myself, my daughters and my teenage granddaughter. I let my granddaughter choose first and she went for this one (I ordered green which other reviewers have mentioned is actually turquoise). The front of the box is paneled and opens to reveal drawers and two fold-out wings. The color is beautiful and the gold trimmed handles add a nice touch. It goes well with the blue and turquoise color scheme in her bedroom. It's a good size for someone her age - not too small, but not too big either. There's plenty of room for your existing jewelry and room for new ones as your collection grows. Organization seems well thought out with four medium sized drawers and one large drawer at the bottom - there are plenty of dividers and oversized compartments. Drawers slide in and out easily. There are soft slots for rings or earrings. The wings have hangers and pockets for necklaces. The jewelry box itself is quite heavy and feels solid. It is beautifully finished and will look great on your dresser. It's much nicer than I expected and way better than the lightweight, fragile jewelry boxes I've seen in local stores. The current price of $49.99 seems reasonable for this quality, well-made jewelry box.
