Review on UMICKOO Upgraded Controller Multi Color Decoration by John Maynard

Bought this item in 2019 as a Christmas gift for a child's room. Setup was pretty easy. The adhesive on the back for sticking to the wall didn't hold up well. I bought a heavier gauge acrylic tape to tape to the back of the lightstrips and that seems to have worked much better. The lights and features had a lot of options, which is nice. However, the colors of the lights were very harsh and glaring at the beginning, now in the last 2 months they have started to fade in some places. Also, some color settings now don't work in the opening sections, so they don't match the smoothness of the color in the rest of the lightbar. For example, white lights are bright white in one section, then begin to fade and dim, becoming lighter pink further down the strip. Until recently I was very happy with the headlights. We will contact the seller to see if there is a fix or if it is just a faulty set. seem to be caused by other supposed remote controls that you may also have nearby. Examples: TV remotes or video game controllers also seem to be able to change the strip's colors and backlight settings. ****Updated 09/27/2020. I contacted the seller via email about the fade issue. They responded almost immediately and asked for a photo. I emailed them a photo of the lights and within minutes they responded that they would send a replacement set. I haven't had a chance to test or install the new LED strips yet, but would like to commend the seller's excellent and prompt customer service in resolving the issue! 👍***
