This is a great way to pack your toothbrush and toothpaste for when you're on the go. Everything is stored in one easy-to-use container. The brush head is protected when not in use, so you don't have to worry about crushing the tube of toothpaste and splattering toothpaste everywhere. It measures 5 7/8" long when closed and 9 1/8" long with the brush head attached. It will stand on its end with the lid closed. The brush head is soft as others have noted, but I prefer it to hard bristles. The only uncomfortable part is putting the brush head back onto the handle after you've put toothpaste on it. Not a big problem, but can be a bit tricky. This is a great little travel invention.
