To my delight another reviewer was right saying they fit a 38 inch waist. up to 40 inches?) because the clasps that close it can pop out under tension, but they definitely fit smaller people too. As I am in the process of losing weight it is good to know that these belts are not a waste of money and will fit me even if I lose weight. They were a beautiful, youthful complement to whatever dresses and skirts I tried them with. I ordered a burgundy and navy combo pack and the color was the same as in their photos individually (so nice and dark) not like the washed out and faded picture of them together.
