Sturdy, durable bag for travel - still has a smell?

This bag is great for traveling for weekends and overnight visits. Has compartments for everything so that you can keep everything separate and organized.Giving this 4 stars as I have only used this bag twice since purchase, but it still has a "smell” that has lingered. I have used unlimited amounts of Febreze and nothing has seemed to help that. May muster up the strength to throw it in the washer and report back.
