Yes, it's necessary, no, it's not cheap. I bought Wish and Pocket thought it was a wireless module. Yes, it's expensive, but it's necessary, and they knew it when they set the price. OP's internal audio isn't bad, but this is a next-level upgrade. Bought with a cheap movo gun mic and alcoon holder, couldn't be happier. If you use Pocket regularly, buy an Alcoon phone holder (metal and cheap), a cheap microphone (movo has a natural sound, better than most budgets) and of course a light. The Aperture M9 is great, but the Viltrox L116t is great. Two-tone, dimmable. not small, but the performance is fantastic for the price. And now you already have a normal film installation. Seems DJI may have milked their customers a bit on this one because the Osmo was never as successful as they expected and they thought it was more advanced than the gopro, but the accessories are overpriced. It could be worse because I use this setup every day of the week instead of the dslr or phone/gimble setup. Faster, easier and very dynamic. Buy once, save and get the results you want.
