As an experienced endurance runner, I can say that this is an uncomfortable cap for the sport. The panels are divided into three parts so that they can be folded after use. In my years of running I have yet to meet a single runner who was interested in folding up their sweaty running cap after use. So the idea for the foldable running cap must have come from someone who doesn't know about running. :) To accommodate the idea of folding, they had to make the brim thicker than usual, which gave the hat a weird feel. Because the brims are split and three-piece, you can't control the shape (curvature and roundness of the brims) like you can with regular barrel caps. Finally, they try to bribe customers by giving away a second hat for free in exchange for a five star rating/review, which I find very unethical.
