I received this as a birthday gift from a friend. The pattern - pink flamingos and saguaro cacti - is cute and fun. But it is also a very practical item. It's a comfortable size, and I can sling it over one shoulder or the other. It has two water bottle holders, a spot for a tablet in a cushioned interior pocket, and plenty of room for snacks, tissues, cell phone and chargers, etc. Think twice before filling it with too many weighty items, but it has enough room for a day's worth of stuff, whether hiking or on a plane trip.
