These bags are thick and strong when they arrive. I fell in love with her. They claim you can wash them in the dishwasher but I didn't/didn't. I pour in some water and soap, seal, shake, then wipe with a rag/sponge. Light. I only put in salad mix a week ahead of time, I don't use it for freezing. They just come in my fridge. After using and washing these bags for about 30/35 days I noticed 1. A couple of stitches came undone just below the zipper. 2. They are no longer easy to stick. The seal does not straighten up and does not want to stay tight. I have arthritis in my thumbs so fighting them has become a struggle. I bought a second set to see if I caught a defective batch, no they do the same thing. The sad thing is that I have the same problem with other brand bags that I bought in a larger size. What gives? I wouldn't spend money on them unless they lasted a little over a month.
