are they bright but very bright? I installed one and rode at night, in and out of the fog. They were whiter than the old lamps but not THAT brighter. I prefer LEDs to old incandescent bulbs, so I'll swap in a different bulb on the way home. They cut the fog better with less bounce, which was good because it got really thick before I got home. I had no trouble seeing the road no matter how dense the fog was. But they are not super bright! Update: I finally adjusted the lightbulb and it helped a lot! Now I can tell when I turn on the high beam and the headlights are brighter. If you're not impressed with the light, discontinue! It is very important! Adjustment is simple - park about two car links in front of a wall (note the lighting scheme), remove the bulb from the headlight (headlights off), unscrew the tiny screw (don't drop it - it's tiny), slide the ring into the one direction or the other until the holes match up and reinsert the screw and then the bulb. Check the light output again and adjust if necessary until you get the maximum light output.
