Yes it's 100% polyester made in China. Don't let this fact stop you from buying. This is a well made product in every respect. It's heavier and thicker than I thought. It has great zippers and great stitching. No more protruding threads and other things after washing. It is also well packed in two zippered bags. I have a slim build, 6ft 2in and 180lbs. This jacket runs a bit large but gives me room to layer. The sleeves can be a little longer, but the elasticated cuffs aren't a problem. Maybe I could fit into the medium, but then maybe I couldn't wear layers. Inside there are two deep pockets, space for gloves or your Kindle. This is a steal at less than $20 and I would definitely recommend it.
