Fits perfectly in socket lamps. They're not as bright as halogen bulbs, but very close, or close enough, for the price. The color of the light was incandescent rather than blue fluorescent. burned out as the bulbs blew out one by one until all 6 had gone out. This lasted 5 weeks. For reference, halogen bulbs cost about $8 plus tax for 4 bulbs. Here they cost $15 for 10 lamps. I definitely recommend this lightbulb. UPDATE: Today is November 7th. Only one bulb burned out. That is amazing. The remaining bulbs that came with the headlights died after about 2 weeks. And their cost was more than double. TO UPDATE; JULY 25, 2020. It has been almost two full years since my original purchase. I just swapped a bulb. They are on 24/7, glowing and staying on from dusk to dawn every day of the week, week and month since they were installed. An electrician once told me that a light bulb suffers from being switched on and off for most of its life. These bulbs have been turned on and off every day for almost 2 years and are still working. I definitely recommend this product. I am 100% satisfied.
