I'm no slouch and bought this mainly for Instagram and being able to take good selfies. I've been using it for 2-3 months now and I love it. The main reason I like it is the size. For people looking for a really efficient way to blog and Instagram and don't know why they need to choose 10" or 12", I got myself 14" and 16" and think what if their arrangement changes don't care much, the more the merrier The thing is a bit bigger than the others, but it's very bright when I want it. It's also fully adjustable horizontally and vertically depending on the angle of your phone and the way you want to take photos or videos. In fact, light weight is not an advantage, no one who buys such a large ring would carry it around, so it will probably lie somewhere for a long time, so it is better to have a thick and strong tripod. which is thin and light, the three legs are quite close to each other even when open, again, given the size and weight of the ring, it's better to keep the three legs wide apart to make this way more stable. This is the standard 3 segment slide and lock mechanism found on most phone tripods. The remote connects to your Bluetooth fairly easily, has a relatively long cable and there is no lag, it's almost instantaneous. The phone holder isn't the best either, and on several occasions I've noticed that when plugging or unplugging the phone, or even when it's in the holder, the buttons are pressed unintentionally and some controls don't work because they're not standing under constant pressure. It would also be nice to be able to use this mount/base as a charger (wireless or USB C or Lightning) so that when your phone is there it will charge from a power source. It would be a big plus. Overall, I recommend this product for its brightness and adjustability. The phone mount could be better and the tripod could certainly be thicker and heavier. Still pretty decent, well designed and solid.
