There is LOTS of space in this bag. I used 3 packing cubes to fit all of the garments below. Pros: - large size (definitely fits 35 liters) - convenient carrying options (backpack or duffel) - convenient - easy to pack - good organization system. on the side, that's probably for a smaller bag. Make sure you choose the right one when purchasing. I have one that says "35L" and it has a zipper that opens like a backpack instead of just a slit in the side. I bought it to travel and carry everything I have in the world, mainly clothes (I go to a very necessary minimum). For a 5'2" tall woman this will fit: - 16" laptop with: charger, 3 cables (mobile charger, fitbit charger, other charger) - 2 socks - 3 swim tops - 1 swim trunks - 1 long sleeve rashguard - everything Unnamable (about 25) - 2 tank tops - 1 thermal underwear - 4 short sleeve shirts - 6 long sleeve shirts - 1 thin sweatshirt - 2 hiking capris - 1 wool pants - toiletries: electric toothbrush, travel toothpaste, travel soap, shampoo, dental floss, lotion, shaver, deodorant - Women's products - anything that fits in a 1 liter ziplock bag - medication - anything that fits in a 1 liter ziplock bag - reusable coffee filter for freshly brewed coffee - 1 Kindle - 1 Yeti Rambler - 1 pair of flip flops - 1 pair of Vibram - Shoes cons: - flap that hides shoulder straps - lock not very useful for my purposes I think the design is mo g would be much better for hiding webbing straps. I don't like rolling up the flap and attaching it to the top of the bag with Velcro. It looks weird and the velcro can stick to clothes and turn them into pills. I also intend to use it for world travel, that is, flying. I basically threw the lock away because I need a TSA lock in case I need to check my bag for some reason. It doesn't matter much, but it was a shame to throw something away anyway. The cons are pretty minor so I would still give this bag 5 stars, especially as it is a very affordable bag. I will update this review if it doesn't hold up while traveling.
