I compared it with my other two professional pressure gauges as well as two digital pressure gauges. This gave me very accurate readings. The large and simple dial is easy to read even with a pressure of up to ½ pound. I like the fact that it's not overloaded. The dial glows in the dark provided it has been in sunlight (or some other light source) for some time. Since they're usually kept in the trunk or glove box, I wouldn't rely on them to light up when it's dark outside. But I tried it after sitting in the room for a few days and it was very readable in the dark. You can attach this and still have the face to you no matter how you position yourself. There's also an exhaust valve which is great to have. With this feature, you don't need to inflate, take pressure, remove the pressure gauge, use a wrench or screwdriver to deflate some, re-measure, reinflate if you deflate too much, or remove more air and to drain etc. Inflate the tire a little, then just press the button until you get the reading you want. The tube is long enough to read in any position, but short enough that storage isn't a problem. This fits perfectly in the glove box or tool box in the truck. It's strong enough that it won't be damaged if you just want to throw it in the trunk when you move inside. If you own a car or truck, this is an invaluable investment. If you know someone who just bought a new car this would make a great and smart gift. All my kids get one.
