I bought these headphones to use in second class. After a few months of use, they began to fail. In all, six out of the nine headsets I bought had to be thrown away after just a few months of use. The fact is that the exterior design is very good; that's why i bought them. I thought they would be good for second graders to use. But the problem isn't in the exterior design; It's the internal wiring. After finally taking one of the headsets apart to figure out what the hell was going on with so many of these shorts, I found that the wires inside the headphones were not only flimsy and already disconnecting from the connectors, they were severed. . .yes, the wires looked like little hair follicles. The reason for the 3 star rating is that Encore is so willing to replace any damaged headsets without me having to return the old ones. In fact, they're sending me six replacements right now. So come on Encore, but to the makers of these headsets.
