Hawaiians know well what a true 'beach throw' is - quick-drying, stylish clothing worn over a bathing suit in public places. Places where others wear street clothes. This dress ticks all the boxes. I originally ordered the blue and white vertical stripe and was so pleased I ordered this item and may be ordering more. At 5 feet 6 inches and weighing 130 pounds, the garment is long enough to touch just above the mid-ankle. The large size, side seams provide room for hands, and two hidden phone/key pockets in front are a bonus most beach covers don't find. The fabric dries quickly when wet, sand doesn't stick to the material and with the top button undone I simply pull the garment over my head and it hangs nicely. Wash in cold water under constant pressure, hang dry and you're good to go! This material is a reptilian pattern which is very different from the striped (original) material and although it is the same pattern the clothes look completely different when worn. Very satisfied, highly recommended!
