I have fibromyalgia with almost constant back and neck pain, so I often lie down while working on my laptop at home. It was such a *huge* help! Typing is difficult as the glasses throw my balance a bit but it's still possible and as long as I'm mostly reading and using the mouse they're fine. My husband tried playing Call of Duty with them out of curiosity and the only problem was the balance; He could watch the TV perfectly from the couch, he just couldn't learn how to play in that position. In other words, the view through them is almost identical to what you would normally see, only slightly smaller. The only "downside" to these glasses, if it's bad enough to be considered a disadvantage, is that the top of the glasses fit snugly against my forehead, leaving a fairly deep dent after I took them off is in my forehead (not generally hurts), and when I get too hot they can fog up. But that's the only "problem" I can come across. You are really great!
