almost six months already. i took, like many, to replace the macbook, which is already 7 years old. i decided to give win10 a chance, since macos flies into some kind of dust with each update. i chose a laptop for a long time, as a result i did not regret it even once. i took it with a 4k screen. i was afraid that i would step on the problems that this model had, and i specifically made sure that the laptop was from a new batch. no problems - sound, touchpad, charging under load - no complaints. for work (data analysis, development - i.e. high load and virtualization) is ideal. for relaxation, too - the laptop is not gaming, but cyberpunk2077, for example, pulls in fullhd. i was worried about some points before buying, so here it is briefly: - yes, the touchpad can be compared with a poppy. no mouse needed. - no, the fact that usb type c is only not scary, the adapter does not bother. - autonomy is worse than a poppy, but also normal - with my load - 6-8 hours (internet, vs code, word, wsl virtual machine, watch video) - yes, windows drops performance when running on battery power, stupidly locks the frequency. it is treated if necessary. - yes, 4k is definitely needed. i can’t imagine how i would sit in fullhd. in games on fullhd (more precisely 1920x1200), its ideal to expose. - no, although it costs the rtx type, but only 2060 maxq, so there will be no ray tracing) it will be more accurate, but very sad. - no, the weight does not bother, the size too - got into a backpack for 15. although here to whom. - no, the touch screen does not interfere, although yes, it works ok and yes, it is not needed. why did it initially have to be touch-sensitive - i don’t understand, poking your fingers at the screen is such an occupation.
