I got this electric scraper mainly for washing the bathtub. My previous brush was a long handled brush with a slanted sponge at the end, so I was hoping this electric scrubber would improve my shower cleaning. I'd say overall it's an improvement, but don't expect a wonderful difference in cleaning. The box contained an electric scrubber, 2 extension cords, a wall mount, 4 different brushes and a charger. First, remember that you cannot fully submerge the scrubber in water, which unfortunately requires extra care. The scrubber has a large yellow sticker warning you not to submerge in water. I installed the round brush according to the instructions, as it is recommended for bathrooms. Then I sprayed the tub with Zep Shower Cleaner, waited a few minutes and started scrubbing the tub. There are two speeds, one is too fast for most applications. The second is slower but still seems difficult to control for precise brushing. The circular motion is very strong and unless I intentionally pressed it against something it wouldn't stop, so more than suitable for brushing. The electric scrubber wasn't quiet, it was about as loud as my electric shaver. It also weighed more than twice as much as my previous aluminum handle brush, not bad but not light either. I could see some struggling with weight and lengthy purges. Overall I think it probably reduced the time it took to clean my tub, but I don't think it will remove stains that my manual brush wouldn't remove either.
