I would give this dress 3.5 stars. I ordered this as a possible party dress as the theme is White Christmas and finding something for a woman with a fuller figure who is standing is a nightmare. I ended up buying another dress online that I like better because it looks less like a wedding dress, but this dress wasn't bad. I'm 55 years old, 5'6", hourglass to pear weight with a slight hint of a middle-aged pooch. I'm usually 12 or 14 depending on cut. I ordered 14 to be safe. It cleans my hips well (it was good to read the review about a tighter petticoat) but I would need to increase my chest and waist maybe a few inches or so - never mind. I'd say it's a bit big. Unless you're a hippie I'd say it's more than 16 than 14 but it's easier to accept than hope to let go. The chiffon is beautiful. I believe some reviewers have not found or received a separate rhinestone brooch that fits between the sequins sewn on. I find it still looks like a wedding dress in white overall I think it's good value for money although you either need to be a good seamstress or know them to make them perfect I would also buy more Bl ing to make it more glamorous, it's also easy to do. I think this would be a great wedding dress for the beach or a very affordable dress for a special occasion. It might look better on a young woman, but I wouldn't offend or shock anyone by wearing it.
