HONEST DETAILED REVIEW

I bought the "Champagne" shade. I had high expectations for this product but I was definitely disappointed. Removing the seal on the product was such a pain. It was good that it was originally sealed, but besides the usual seal, there was glue underneath so it took me a long time to remove the plastic. My gloss now has a sticky residue that I just can't wipe off and the gold trim at the top of the tube is peeling off. The first impression of the gloss was good. It seemed very sticky and sticky. I'm a big gloss lover but it was an odd consistency. After applying it to my lips it immediately liquefied and was very streaky so I had to wipe it off and then apply a very thin layer. The swatch the brand showed was very deceptive, they showed it to be a pink shade but when it was on it seemed like it actually lightened my natural lip color and was a more neutral tan shade. Every time I take the applicator brush out of the tube, it brings with it a long, sticky streak of gloss that scatters and drips, requiring me to wipe excess material off the side of the gloss hole, leaving a mess. There's a slight tingling sensation when worn, which doesn't bother me, and it smells nice. It smells and tingles almost exactly like the Buxom brand shine, which I'd rather spend $21 on. The quality of this lip gloss is generally poor. It's messy, horrible consistency and formula, and the shades are falsely advertised. You definitely get what you paid for, but I've bought cheaper glosses that looked better than this one.
