Love the support for this product. Have had problems with SI for many years. The PT assistant only mentioned a similar product in general terms, not by the brand name. My own research led me to Spartos. If I could change one thing it would be to narrow each end of the strap itself. The strap is wider at each end and if you overlap the strap (40" hips) the barbed portion of the Velcro will not close and dig into your flesh. The only way to solve this problem is to edge the edges bringing the velcro together and leaving the center in a 'hump' shape which is ugly but eliminates the pain of the exposed velcro digging into you Despite this one downside I would recommend this product as it increases the mobility of my Significantly reduces the sacroiliac joint and allows the ligaments time to heal. Wear your shirts loose so no one will know you're wearing them. I wear it under my clothes and have no problem keeping it in place. Good luck!
