I bought these for my mom's Nissan versa. Turns out you have to go somewhere to program it to go in reverse. So crafting is not an option. I was really hoping she could have 2 working keychains and it wouldn't cost a small fortune. Spring. However, they solved the problem. Mom pushes the buttons too hard and wears out the rubber on her old one. I just pulled the rubber band out of one of the new ones and put it in the old keychain. (The old thing with the chip didn't match the new one) Her old key fob works fine now as long as she doesn't press too hard. It took some time to convince her that she didn't need to use a life force jaw on him. In any case, I recommend researching whether or not you can install them yourself before purchasing. 100% will buy again once she destroyed the buttons on the new one lol
