These bowls are heavy gauge stainless steel and of the highest quality. The lids fit much tighter than most other anchor glass containers and I think they come in handy for storing leftovers without taking up a lot of fridge space. My only complaint is that they are not 3" inside, but 3" from the OUTER edge of the rim to the other OUTER edge of the rim. I really wanted to use them for my products but unfortunately they are too small to fit in my 3″ soap circles. thick stainless steel. Made in the USA and lids have no "anchor clasp" on top.
