Bought for our 15 year old mini dachshund Carter. All of his teeth were removed over a year ago. We had a hard time finding soft dog food for him and he was still struggling. Then one day it dawned on me. Maybe his gums hurt and his jaw can't taste a spoon? It worked! My fur ate again, but sometimes he still pretended the spoon hurt him. And then I stumble across these wonderful spoons! They are so soft he really enjoys chewing or munching on them! He actually wants to eat now, without resistance!
