I have almost the same Spyder jacket (but with sleeves of course) and it's surprisingly warm. As a vest, this makes a great mid-layer for a day on the slopes or elsewhere. It fits over a long-sleeved shirt as long as it's not too bulky, and you can easily wear a jacket or coat over it. It zips up easily - the zip has an extra elastic band to make it easier to grab and a nice fabric fold at the top of the turtleneck to close the zip. Zippered pockets are great for phone, keys or money. . The vest is cute and has a sporty look. Overall this is a good layer, especially for outdoor winter sports.
