I ordered 3 of these bags. My kids (ages 8, 10. And 12) are required to carry their chromebooks to and from school every day. They have plastic protectors on them from the school, but I wanted something more. These bags don't provide a lot of padding, but I feel like every bit helps. Plus, since they are neoprene, the occasional raindrop drips off instead of being absorbed. They wouldn't do well in a puddle though. Even with the plastic protectors, the kids have no issues with their chromebook fitting. The front zipper has plenty of room for the charger plus a kid size wireless mouse. The handles velcro together or fold down depending on how you want to carry it. We've only had them for about a week, but the material is holding up and we haven't had any issues with the zippers.
