So far, so good. These labels survived several flights and are still intact. It doesn't sound like much, but I've had other items (tags, whole bags, etc.) damaged by movers in a shorter amount of time. take a hit. The reason I bought them was to attach the steel cable. I just wanted something that didn't come out of a bag. It looks like the weak point will be where the silicone material meets the metal sleeve. So far no problems though. Again, it seems like the elastic material should be able to take a beating and bounce back. I bought a few more different colors to wear with all my other bags. Hopefully they stand the test of time.
