Okay for that rear Montana growl: you need to change the oil and then, say, drive 60 miles (let's just get your normal driving level up to 60). Now change the fluid again and drive another 60. Then change the oil for the last time. Now I know this suggestion might sound like one of those things everyone talks about: balancing tires or switching to this brand, but it worked for me. My van went from a loud, constant howl to something quieter or different with each change, to normal.
