Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience with the Polk Audio 90 RT Ceiling Speaker by Matthew Bowman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Read the description before ordering; Very detailed but less punchy bass and narrower soundstage than the MC80

Beware - this speaker is over 9 inches tall and quite heavy. Of course not for every ceiling. Please read the product description carefully before ordering. .Also be careful with this as the woofer cone may be touched through the back. Sonically, this is a surprisingly detailed speaker, but it's not clearly more appealing than the more affordable Polk Audio MC80. - Mid-size 90RT woofer and high-end crossover reproduce buttery-smooth, detailed, "real" vocals. In fact, it delivers a consistent level of detail across the range that I haven't found in cheaper speakers, or even many speakers over $300 (with 10 points of comparison) for every piece of music I put on it. -Star review first and foremost -- this speaker's soundstage feels flatter and narrower than more common "open" design speakers -- I compare it to the great Polk MC80 and the good Micca M-8C. And its bass is certainly less punchy than the MC80 or M-8C. In short, if you need a super-detailed front speaker for an audiophile setup** and** you're planning a separate subwoofer, this speaker is on the other hand if you want something that will perform well on a wide range of music, including dancing , and will stand alone, check out the Polk Audio MC80 for more versatile speakers or micca. M-8C for a more budget-friendly choice that still sounds very good.
