I have back pain from years of being in a car accident that gets worse from time to time and I have a beautiful Honda Civic with horrible seats. This pillow and headrest definitely go a long way in providing some support in the areas I need most (especially during a thrust). They're not too hard or too soft, they're just right. (Yes, it was a Goldilocks reference!) Also, they're well made, easy to adjust, and the covers come off for cleaning. My husband doesn't need/need these cushions when he drives and it's easy for him to snap them off and throw them in the trunk when not in use.
