The belt is very simple: two parts (belt and buckle with no moving parts). It's easy to use: watch the tutorial video, it's very clear. It's very light: I almost don't feel its weight, which was especially nice on long walks in wet weather. It is reliable: it does not need to be tightened to avoid accidentally loosening; it never came loose on its own after several weeks of daily use on a variety of shorts and pants that were a different fit (some with a looser fit at the waist). I was a little skeptical when I bought it, but I enjoyed enough to use it. Feel comfortable to buy more. I don't think it can replace some of my belts for more formal occasions, but I can use it every day for business.
