The set contains 25 rotating lobster claws and 25 charms, 50 pieces in total. You can use the keychain and lobster claw together or separately. I make mini stuffed animals, resin crafts and macrame designs that I turn into keychains! I use lobster claws as an alternative to a round keychain because lobster claws are easier to open and close, especially for my grandma and little nieces/nieces. Convenient to quickly turn the bunch of keys into a lobster clasp. The ring is 0.8" wide, which is slightly smaller than the keychains I currently have. In fact, I prefer smaller rings so they don't get taken away by the smaller pieces. The swivel is smooth and can rotate fully with no issues The lobster claw closes completely without leaving a gap.
