Review on Skechers Skech Air Deluxe Sneaker Charcoal Girls' Shoes by Robert Ryokan

Cute, light and comfortable. The rubber outsole has excellent sticky, non-marking traction and is also very durable. Came with an extra pair of laces (which by law are required to be on all children's boots). The reason the two stars are being deducted is because these shoes smell horrible after only a few hours of wear. My daughter's feet and shoes smelled awful after just one day of wearing. Then, during a long vacation at Disneyland, they got a little wet in a light downpour, and these boots suddenly had a mega-stink like no other. She has several other brands of shoes that are a few months old and none of them smell bad. Google searched "Sketcher Smell" and lo and behold, it's an epidemic. No detergent, spray or deodorant will ever remove the smell from Skechers memory foam shoes. Tried detergent, Fabreze, charcoal, shoe spray, vinegar and baking soda. None of this did anything other than temporarily reduce the odor until the shoes were put back on for a few hours. I will never buy another Skechers product again. It's a shame, because they make nice, light, reasonably durable and affordable children's shoes.
