I bought them together with a grey-turquoise crockery set. I wanted a smaller bowl option. The color is more of a soft blue, but goes well with the blue-green in my dishes. Everyone loves them because they are a fun color and size. The only downside is that there are only 6 ok. I might get another set in white to have more on hand and a contrasting color.
