The most disappointing aspect was the lack of the fiery brawl that was advertised in the reviews. When you put in replacements for worn out tires, new winter tires will, of course, make a humming sound. Well, dang it, guys, of course, any new winter tires will make a humming sound. Because the tread is brand new and quite high, it appears that the new rubber is significantly noisier than the one that came before it. This year, I traded in two vehicles: first, my own FF3 for the Bridgestone that was described earlier (the Ford makes a noise), and second, my wife's automobile for this Saylun, which makes virtually no noise at all. At any given speed, the rumbling coming from the Bridges may be heard to be significantly louder on the Ford. Only in a specific frequency band between 110 and 120 does Sailun hum noticeably; outside of that range, it hums just like any other type of rubber.
