This is a great long lasting set of light bulbs. A friend of mine bought several sets to use in a DJ setup (no bulbs) and they have lasted for many years. He had a chain of these running on a palm tree last year. The colors slowly change from one color to another at semi-random times, allowing each bulb to be a different color. The result is a very bright and dynamic image. Diffusion lamps are very easy to remove if you need bare LEDs for any reason. This list does a disservice as the green electrical wire between the lightbulbs has been Photoshopped. If you thought they were totally different bulbs, you will be disappointed! But I'm here to tell you that color changing LEDs use a lot of power.
