Great Product at a Great Price! We bought this in anticipation of our pup who will join our two dogs. We needed a place where he could take a break from the dogs or when our dogs needed a break from him. That has come true! And it's perfect when I need to go to another room quickly but don't want to leave the pup alone or with other dogs (it's very light and easy to lift). It also helped for a manageable morning routine. It's the perfect size for him to have enough space to jump and play. He is 4 pounds. If I leave it open our other two dogs are happy to come in and explore or lay down! They are 17 and 14 pounds respectively. You can also stand up and turn around. Because of their size, if they started playing or trying to get out, they could move the handle slightly (or rather roll) and crash into walls. As for the "meeting place" I leave open, they love it and will go there to lie down if there is a comfortable pillow in it. For a tiny little one, this is literally the size of a 'pen', while for larger dogs it's closer to the size of a cage. The net will withstand the scratching of baby's tiny claws (when trying to play with the dogs in the paddock). I added some images for the dog size scale in the pen. The first dog weighs 17 pounds, the second dog weighs 14 pounds, and the third dog weighs 5 pounds. Update: She survived our pup's puppyhood! The mesh was intact, although he didn't scratch as often. When he reached a weight of around 8 pounds, it became clear that he couldn't keep him in one place anymore! He was big enough to ride like my big dogs. I would still highly recommend for small dogs and puppies if you are looking for control!
