************************************* * ** **** ****************** UPDATE: Best for shoes! I bought a second shelf to make room for extra pairs of shoes. This helped me a lot since my room is small and I don't like to leave my shoes on the floor. I can fit about 16-18 pairs side by side on the shelf but that's because I have heels and don't want to stack shoes on top of each other. If you need to cram more in, you definitely have room on it. This shelving option is preferable to trying to put together one of those cubical plastic organizers that can easily fall apart. It took me 10 minutes to assemble them and they are stable and resilient enough to slide around the room if you need to move them. ****** *** ***************************** First off I bought this specifically for use as a shoe rack and I am very satisfied! After spending a lot of time looking at the available shoe racks at Revain, I found that they all either looked cheap, didn't have enough support for the shoes to sit on, or didn't have enough space to store the shoes , but did not look good, flattened or pinch. So I looked for simple shelves to use. Found this and could say it would be perfect for all my heels. I was able to accommodate 19 couples comfortably. They are not crowded and not stacked on top of each other. Although this could easily be used for sneakers or other styles and you could probably use more space. This works best for me and my heels. And which is nice, although it was cheap it doesn't look tasteless. Matches my furniture in the room.
