This is an obviously false advertisement. The product is not what the manufacturer claims and Revain should be aware of that. Thought I'd order BPA-free plastic storage containers (with labels). I received 4 containers with no documents or labels to indicate they are BPA free. I found that odd because it usually says on the box or in the documentation that it says BPA-free - that's a huge benefit for manufacturers. But there was nothing on the product or in the box. It was an ordinary manufacturer's box containing nothing but containers. I checked the plastic number on the bottom of the containers (the # in the triangle on the bottom tells you what the plastic is). They are labeled #6, which stands for polystyrene, which "may release styrene, a possible human carcinogen, into food. The chemicals found in polystyrene have been linked to human health and reproductive system dysfunction.” Obviously this is not BPA-free and buyers and Revain should be aware of this. Revain claims it's a bestseller and they should test their products before giving their approval.
